The Odibets app requires Android 4.4 and iOS 14.3 or higher to work. On Android, the app takes just 2.4MB, and 37.6MB on iOS.

I compared the Odibets app with some of the best apps offered by bookmakers in Africa like SportyBet and Betking. While the Odibets app offers simplicity, it cannot stand the sophistication that apps like that of SportyBet enjoy. Also, there are some bugs in the Odibets current version of the app which we will discuss later in this article. In terms of features, the Odibets app also offers little compared to the likes of SportyBet and Betking. 

Unsurprisingly, the Odibets app loads very fast, primarily due to being lightweight. With this, users can seamlessly participate in in-play bets, casino gaming, or place wagers on pre-match events without a second delay. Users who engage in live betting will agree that a fast-loading app is essential, and Odibets offers this. I experienced a fast delivery from the Odibets app. Opening the app took less than two seconds, and every aspect became completely clickable in another two seconds. 

However, you should note that your internet connection speed will significantly impact the app’s loading speed. I tried loading it with a high-speed WiFi network, and the results were fantastic. Under an unstable network, it took a bit longer, and the links dragged before loading. As such, always ensure you visit the app with a reliable internet connection to enjoy its speed.

As with the website, Odibets offers the same number of sports on the app. The total number of sports on offer at the moment is 14, and this is not really good. In comparison with some other Sportsbooks like Bet9ja, Odibets really needs to do better. The sports available on the app are Soccer, eSports, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, rugby, cricket, Aussie rules, American football, boxing, handball, futsal, volleyball, and floorball. I also saw some niche ones like OdiLeague, Crash, Lignare, Rocket, OdiTurbo, Jackpot, Casino, and Slots. 

Odibets has a good depth of betting types and markets on the app. Gaming with the app, you can access traditional pre-match betting and over 80 betting markets. There are also specific markets like marginals, bookings, corners, combo, and many more. Odibets app also offers live betting on games that are already in play. Here, you can find multiple markets and options to stake on. You also get additional information and a visual representation of the match to help you make the right decision.

I staked the amount suitable for qualification, however, I wasn't able to conclude as I didn't win. Winners are chosen randomly, remember! 

Zoza Na Odibets App Bonus

This bonus is exclusive to app users. While Odibets posted that the promo runs from 7th July 2023 to 31st December 2023, it is still very much alive. To qualify, you have to download the app via the Play Store and stake at least Ksh 49 on a bet of 7.99 or more. Winners of this promo are chosen randomly as well. 

• My Experience 

I downloaded the app and made the qualification by staking Ksh 50 on odds of 9.04. However, I wasn't chosen as a winner, as they are only selected randomly. 

Odibets Ghana App Bonus And Promos 

Unfortunately, I couldn't get any app-exclusive promos on the Odibets Ghana app. While there are the usual bonuses and promotions available, the app-exclusive promos are only available for the Kenyan version at the moment. This should change in the future, though, as I think it'll be beneficial for both bookie and users that way.

The payment methods offered on the app are the usual ones available on the website. Deposits are made in Kenya with M-Pesa, while Ghanaians can make payments via MTN, Vodafone, and Airtel. Odibets App Pros and Cons 

Like every other betting app, the Odibets app has its strong points as well as some not so strong ones. Listed below are some of the apps pros and cons. 

Pros

Lightweight: Consuming little storage space, the Odibets app is very lightweight and manages space well. 

Statistics: A comprehensive statistics section is one big weapon for gamers, especially those focused on live betting. 

Speed: The app is quite fast and a blessing to live gamers. 

Cons

Live Streaming: A lack of live streaming service handicaps Odibets in comparison to competitors. I wanted to see the Manchester United Vs Brighton game while staking bets on 19th January 2025, and I had to switch over to another app as there was no live streaming service to help me out. 

Odibets app is level with certain betting apps in Africa. However, it falls short in some categories when compared with top-end apps. For example, most of the top-end apps offer LIVE STREAMING services, which Odibets does not.  

Positively, Odibets offers a comprehensive casino gaming hub. The casino section is on par with the top-end apps in Africa, with a classy standard. The crash game section is lit with games like Aviator, JetX, and Comet Crash.

Odibets' mobile app stands out for its simplicity and efficiency, making it ideal for both novice and seasoned bettors. The app's data-saving design ensures quick load times, and its intuitive navigation enhances the overall user experience. However, introducing features like live streaming could further enhance its appeal. ​

Conclusion and Recommendations 

The Odibets app is impressive and offers punters an easy way to place wagers using smartphones and other mobile devices. It can be considered as one of the best betting apps in Kenya and Ghana. It is loaded with cool features which users can use to perform many tasks. The app is lightweight and offers fast loading speed. Installation is seamless and only takes a few minutes to complete. The app is not without its faults, and one of the biggest ones is the absence of a live streaming service. I also noticed a download link bug on the app. The link to download the app on the website is also on the app. Clicking it activates a bug which shows you a Not Found error message and doesn't allow you access the main menu of the app for a few seconds. . 

Overall, I rate the App a solid 80/100 considering its user-friendly interface and high-quality odds. However, I would call for improvements in the bonus section (especially Odibets App Ghana) as well as the live streaming service.

As a user, I appreciate the app’s thoughtful features, like the availability of light and dark modes, easy navigation, and minimal data consumption. The app bonuses are a great incentive, and the iOS version for Kenya is a welcome addition. However, its limitations are hard to ignore. I did not appreciate the lack of live streaming, limited payment options, and a narrow selection of sports. The lack of an iOS version in Ghana is disappointing and excludes a significant user base. While it offers a smooth experience for basic betting needs, it feels incomplete compared to competitors. With a few updates, the Odibets app could become much better.
